Studios in Budapest Hungary

As one of the most important achievement of The Film law from 2004 was that new studios were built in and around Budapest. The brand new Korda Studios on Etyek (40 minutes drive from Budapest) has five stages on 8.650 m2 (93.107 square foot), numerous offices and worshop spaces and storages. In the same lot you can find the New Street backlot as well.

Astra Studios provides their services in three stages on 4.620 m2 (49.729 square foot) and 1.700 m2 offices (18.298 square foot) from 15 minutes drive from Budapest on Mogyoród.

Stern studios on Pomáz was reconstructed from a textile factory and has two stages on 3.740m2 (40.257 square foot) and workshops, storages and offices about 20 minutes drive from the centre of Budapest.

The state owned Mafilm studios located on Fót 20 minutes drive from the downtown Hotels and two stages are available on 3.000m2 (32.291 square foot) as well as offices, workshops and storages. Mafilm studios has biggest backlot complex in Central Europe with it’s medieval castle and village, a concentration camp, a Victorian London set, the façade of the Notre Dame, and the main square and streets of Betlehem.
